The Component Hardware Group DSS-Y003 Replacement Drain Strainer is attached to a sink drain or floor drain opening to prevent debris and is able to allows water through it. It operates by fitting around the mouth of the drain, catching the solids in its perforated section as the liquid moves downwards. The strainer is inserted directly in the corresponding sink's drain cavity. It is designed to fit conventional drain sizes, so that it can be dropped into the drain and extracted to be cleaned to assist in maintaining the drain passage clear of any large particle materials.
