The Electrolux 004836 Pasta Cooker Strainer 50 mm diameter enables the water to pass through and pasta or other small food to be retained by inserting the cooker through the outlet or drain hole. It traps the solids when a liquid is flowing through its perforated surface. The strainer is designed to be placed in the compatible pasta cookers, which will be placed in the drain, where the strainer will be firmly seated during use. It allows free liquid to drain out but prevents food particles, without disrupting the usual draining ability of the cooker.
