The Electrolux 0G9030 Pressure Braising Pan Lid Gasket is a tight-fitting lid that encloses the steam and builds pressure during cooking. It pushes the lid closed so the lid does not open as the pressure rises and the cooking cycle continues. The gasket is placed on the inner edge it fits into a special groove to ensure it has contact with the rim of the pan. This position keeps the seal constant and steady, which enables the contact between the lid and pan during operation of the pressure system to operate as intended throughout the entire braising process.
