The Frymaster FM12147 Fryer Computer Probe detects the temperature of cooking oil and communicates thermal readings to the electronic control board, enabling the heating system to respond throughout the cooking process. As oil temperature rises or falls, the sensing element provides continuous data input that supports programmed heating adjustments during operation. This probe is installed inside compatible commercial fryers near the fry pot, where it remains in direct contact with the cooking conditions for accurate temperature monitoring. It includes an 11-1/4-inch x 4-1/4-inch probe, 3/16-inch diameter, 36-inch leads, a 1/8-inch male push pin, and a 35-inch high-temperature sleeve for integration with the control assembly.
