The Garland G0272529 Dial Insert attaches to a dial mechanism that is compatible with the dial insert which means that the needle can be used to record the temperature between 100°F and 425°F. It works by expanding and contracting a bimetallic coil which rotates the dial. The insert can be attached to the existing control panel and fits in securely with the use of a clear visual temperature direction designed to fit in the heating equipment. This allows it to be installed in any place without any modifications to the existing arrangement.
