The Garland G03269R Convection Oven Door Gasket operates by forming a compression seal made of airtight material between the grate of the pan and the main frame of the cavity. This high-temperature substance is made to squeeze up as the entrance closes to prevent the loss of thermal energy to the outside of the cooking compartment. This part is attached directly to the inner edge of the appliance door attached either by a mounting track or a set of inbuilt clips.
