The GE/Hobart BB-009-41 Ball Bearing Planetary Shaft D300 assists in rotating the planetary gear system by minimizing the friction between the shaft and other components. The ball bearings enable the movement to be smooth and hence efficient transfer of motion in the mixer. This shaft is inserted into the planetary gearbox of compatible mixers, and the gears that are driven by the motor are connected to the mixing attachments.
