The Groen GR114800 Convection Steamer Delimer/Descaler 1-Gallon is a liquid cleaning solution that is designed to eliminate the mineral scale and deposits on steamers and other high-temperature steam appliances. It comes in 1-gallon containers and is applied in foodservice and institutional kitchens to ensure efficiency in heat transfer. When used in line with the instructions the descaler is circulated in the steam generator or used on interior surfaces to dissolve hard water deposits that develop during normal operation. This part is used as a maintenance program to make sure that the steam production.
