The Groen 5017 Stem Flush 3" is used to seal around a valve stem in order to prevent leaks and at the same time allow it to move during operation. which compresses slightly upon installation, keeping the stem and housing in contact. This is a flush that is installed around the valve in steam kettles, boilers or other cooking systems where a fluid pathway is regulated by a valve. The size is equal to the size of the particular valve assembly. Installation is applied when assembling the valve.
