The Groen Z005902 Pedestal Cap is a replacement finishing part of the TDC/2 series, which covers and shields the pedestal base opening. It is placed over the pedestal cavity where controls or connections are passed through, which gives a clean surface and protects internal parts against debris and moisture. This cap is fitted on the bottom housing of the kettle to ensure the structural integrity of the unit. In a normal foodservice application, the ease of cleaning of the kettle is a component of the external support and enclosure system.
