The Hobart 00-914758 Slicer Knife Removal Tool is used to loosen a circular blade in a commercial food chopper when changing it or cleaning it. It interacts with the slitter hub, which enables the cutting edge to be cut off by giving it controlled leverage and alignment and loosening in the mounting point. It is applied to the cutter models that are compatible with the awl and is placed directly on the knife assembly section where the blade attaches to the drive mechanism. This instrument is usually applied in service processes, which require replacing, sharpening or cleaning the slicer knife.
