The Hoshizaki 384344G01 Drain Valve is a part of ice machines that are used for 115V with 50/60Hz frequencies. This solenoid-operated valve regulates the flow of melted ice water from the storage bin of the ice machine. On operation, a push plate is raised, which through a rod and chain mechanism opens the valve to let the melted ice water flow away reducing the ice overflow and enhancing ice production. This leads to constant ice-making quality and machine performance in the long run.
