The Hoshizaki 3A3478-01 Bin Control Sensor Housing is an essential component of the commercial ice machines which is used to control and sense the ice levels. This sensor housing uses either mechanical or thermostatic control mechanisms to measure the presence of ice. The filling level is determined as the extent of ice that has to be produced by the ice maker, and once this has been achieved any further production of ice causes the sensor to stop the process to avoid wastage of ice.
