The Hoshizaki 4A1711-01 Expansion Valve is an essential part manufactured for refrigeration systems to control the refrigerant flow into the evaporator. Its functioning is based on sensing bulb which contains refrigerant and measures temperature of refrigerant coming out of evaporator. During changes in climate, the valve alters the amount of refrigerant supply to meet the cooling requirements while protecting the compressor from liquid refrigerant damage.
