The Hoshizaki CAP-200-160 Freezer Start Capacitor is used, to start the compressor motor by temporarily improving the electrical energy available to enable it to start effectively. It is directly linked to the compressor terminals and works in step with the start-up cycle of the motor. It is installed in the electrical compartment of the freezer unit and placed close to the compressor so that the wiring and performance of the system can be properly arranged so that it can fit into the appliance without conflict with the existing parts.
