The Ice-O-Matic 9151193-02 Ice machine solenoid valve coil 208-240V activates an electromagnetic coil to initiate a magnetic field, which pulls the valve plunger to flow refrigerant or water when power is applied and stops the flow when power is cut off. The machine operates in a sequence whereby the coil opens the valve in the presence of voltage. Usually in the solenoid valve assembly of the mechanical compartment. This coil is to be replaced when it cannot properly actuate the valve during normal operation.
