The In-Sink-Erator 12506C Sink Flange Kit #5 is installed on the top of a sink drain opening to attach and close the gap between sink and a garbage disposal unit. It is by placing the flange over the drain hole in the sink and screwing the mounting hardware to ensure that the gasket is forced to compress against the sink surface forming a watertight interface. This is a small flange kit that is fitted at the drain point of the sink between the sink and the inlet of the disposal.
