The Component Hardware Group J63-1451 Cap Strip 7' Stainless steel is meant to cover and fix adjoining surfaces by bridging a seam and fixing them by way of pre-drilled holes. When the strip is attached, it covers the joint and holds the panels aligned when they are in normal operation. It is normally fitted on vertical or horizontal seams on doors, panels or equipment housings where two surfaces come together. The 7-foot length enables the continuous coverage of the joints without several parts.
