The Component Hardware Group L10-X007 Glass Globe Plastic Coating 3-1/4" Dia X 6-3/4" is made up of a transparent glass construction that is covered with a plastic coating to shield the glass in case of breaking. This is attached directly to similar lighting fixtures in commercial kitchen hoods to shield the light against grease, moisture, and high temperatures. It is placed between the internal source of energy and the external cooking condition as a critical barrier. The lighting system is not in contact with any debris.
