The Lang 2U3020003 Motor 1/3HP 480V 3PH works on the concept of transforming electrical energy into mechanical force by use of three-phase induction system producing a steady rotating force. Its 1/3-horsepower output gives it the torque to power compatible equipment properly and the 480V rating makes it compatible with industrial power systems. The motor is made to fit standard machinery layouts usually mounted in such a way that it is centered to the driven load with a flange or foot arrangement. A terminal box is used to make electrical connections, and cooling is provided by an inbuilt fan.
