The Manitowoc 040000691 Ice Machine Evaporator Water Inlet Fitting Kit directs the incoming water to the cooling unit by connecting the water supply line to the internal distribution system. Water passes through this fitting into the evaporator plate where it spreads over the freeze surfaces to form ice. It is mounted at the water entrance to compatible ice machines and it is the point of the connection between the supply line and the evaporator assembly. This inlet is designed and made to fit the design of the machine, such that it fits and flows in the right direction to the freezing section.
