The Multiplex 16-2170 Water Booster 115V works by pumping water in a supply line, and raising the pressure of the flow with the support of an electrical pump. It has a stainless steel pump chamber that is driven by its motor and moves water into the 2.0-gallon tank attached to it to ensure a consistent output. The unit is easy to install and is usually placed close to a source of water or a pressure-sensitive system so that the tank can hold pressurized water which can be used instantly.
