The Nieco NC8420 Infrared Burner and Reverberator works by transforming fuel energy into component heat which radiates over the cooking surface to provide even heating of the surface. This heat is reflected, and redistributed by the reverberator to assist in maintaining constant output in cooking cycles. It is mounted in the grilling assembly, where it is mounted to the burner frame and connected to system controls to coordinate its operation. This component is designed to be compatible with certain broiler models, and is a component of the heating system, used to arrange the heat flow and ensure uniform contact between the burner.
