The Keating P16170L Flame Switch is a safety component for pilot light systems. It has mercury and a 26" cap with a bulb 1/8" x 2-3/16". It is a normally open pilot safety switch operating to provide system safety by sensing the presence or absence of a flame. It is mounted using a metal plate with two mounting holes, 1/4" tab terminals, N.O. & COM connections, and two sheet metal screws. Older Keating systems are ideal, newer models require a conversion kit. The reliability and safety in industrial systems is improved by this device.

Installation Steps

Step1: Turn off gas and power before servicing the appliance.
