The Ice-O-Matic 9041105-01 Purge Valve 120V controls the amount of water that flows when the ice machine is in purge mode to eliminate the mineral deposits, and impurities that have accumulated in the ice-making system. It works by opening at certain times to release the overload of water so that the system is clean and efficient to continue producing ice. This purge valve is installed in the water circuit of the ice machine, usually in the drain line, or in the area of the water distribution assembly, where it regulates the controlled flow of water in each cycle.
