The Cleveland SE50021 Cold Water Stem Assembly operates by controlling the flow of water in the cold supply lines of a faucet or mixing valve. It has a threaded stem that can be installed directly, into valve bodies that are compatible. It is placed inside the faucet housing and in line with the handle mechanism so as to make it easy to operate and control. The valve can be closed or opened through rotational movement made possible by the assembly. It is small enough to fit into normal designs of faucets and can be maintained or replaced.
