The Silver King 30939 Air Filter Screen Intake 23" X 30" is used to filter the airborne particles and the air can enter the air filter, but the dust, lint, and debris are trapped in the mesh. The screen assists in minimizing the accumulation of contaminants on internal parts of the system as the air enters the system. It fits at the right-hand intake opening of compatible refrigeration and the screen is designed to be replaced if torn or damaged to ensure the air moves properly into the system.
