The Star Mfg SP2-Z16942 KA Thermostat W/Auxiliary Switch 3/16" X 12" Bulb 96" Cap works by detecting thermal changes through a remote sensing bulb connected to a capillary tube and translating those variations into mechanical switching actions within the control circuit. An integrated auxiliary switch operates alongside the primary temperature-control operation enabling secondary electrical responses when predetermined conditions are reached. Installed within compatible commercial foodservice equipment, this parts is positioned in the temperature-management system where the sensing bulb extends into the monitored area while the control assembly interfaces with terminals, wiring, and associated electrical hardware.
