The Star Mfg HN-118016 Conveyor Toaster Speed Control adjusts the movement rate of the belt by changing resistance in the connected drive circuit. Rotating the adjustment alters the electrical signal reaching the drive mechanism which changes, the rate at which food travels through the heating area. The 250 ohm specification identifies the resistance value while 120V states the rated electrical level. The terminal connections link the element to the surrounding wiring, allowing the selected setting to establish the required transit duration before discharge.
