The Bakers Pride S3004X Bake Oven Door Spring works by storing the mechanical tension in the spring when the door is closed releasing it when the door is opened, and producing controlled movement. It is attached to the door lever mechanism on both ends to control the balance and movement of the lower oven door. The spring is normally fixed to the bottom of the door assembly to provide alignment with the hinge and lever system to help ensure adequate contact with the weight of the door. It fits closely in commercial deck ovens and ensures that the mechanical linkage between door and support structure is maintained.
