The Market Forge 97-6191 Convection Steamer Door Switch 15A 125/250V operates by enabling or disabling the electrical connection between the steamer door when open or closed, to make sure that the cooking cycle is activated and deactivated. It works by cutting off the power flow when the door is not latched so that it does not operate when loading or unloading. This switch is normally mounted in the control assembly or door frame of the convection steamer and this detects the position of the door and connects with the safety and operational controls of the system.
