The Star Mfg P2-30402 Top Mount Drain Pan Assembly is a fabricated food support and containment unit that has a built-in outlet. It is installed under cooking or warming areas in commercial kitchens to collect spills, condensation, and runoff and direct the liquid to the drain connection which is 1/2" in diameter, to be removed in a sanitary manner. When used normally, it holds cookware and trays, connects to the mounting frame of the appliance, and is used for normal cleaning and garbage disposal as an extension of the overall food preparation process.
