The T&S Brass TS1085-45 Rubber Ring Old Style is a joint interface seal that is used by fitting between components and compressing to prevent fluid leakage. It is inserted in its groove and is in contact with the surrounding surfaces when under assembly pressure. The ring is to be installed in the sealing channel that is intended to be occupied by older-pattern assemblies. When it is in place, it prevents fluid spillage as other parts of the body remain in operation.
