The Waring/Qualheim 018390 V-Ring is a seal that is used to join rotating components by fitting into a shaft and pressing against a surface to prevent the escape of fluid or air. When assembled, it fits in its own groove and is in contact with the adjacent components. This is made to fit in the fitting of a compatible equipment and is placed at the point where a seal is required around a moving shaft. When fitted into place, it serves to hold fluids in place whilst still letting the shaft to rotate normally.
