The Vulcan Hart VH00-719255-00012 Red Knob with Set Screw on Burner Valve is used to operate the valve stem to change the flow of gas by pushing the internal control mechanism when it is rotated. The D-stem clamps the valve shaft, and the set screw holds the knob in position on the stem as the knob is turned to allow adjustment. It is attached to the front panel of compatible cooking equipment, where the valve shaft sticks out and placed in such a way that the flat-down position and the red color of the control are easily visible.
