The Vulcan Hart 00-913115-00001 Heating Element Kit 208/240V uses electrical energy to heat the water by changing it into thermal energy using internal resistive wiring to keep the liquid temperatures constant. This is done by the introduction of voltage between the terminals, and this results in the submerged coil heating the liquid media directly. The component is installed in the booster tank or supply manifold of the commercial cleaning systems in order to facilitate proper sanitation cycles. The unit is constructed to fit into the existing heating circuit and is designed to fit into a 208V or 240V system.
