The Hobart WS-006-36 Legacy Mixer Flat Washer 3/8" is placed between parts to assist in distributing the pressure when tightening a fastener to minimize wear on the surface and aid in proper spacing. With the assembly of the parts, the flat surface of the washer distributes the load of the screw head over a wide area. It is inserted between a fixing that is going through compatible mixer assemblies, between the mating surfaces that need to be supported or spaced.
