The Garland 1086599 Pilot Valve is used to control the flow of gas to the pilot burner by its internal valve mechanism. This is a part that is fitted into the gas control unit of commercial cooking equipment, usually between the gas supply and the pilot tubing. It has a 1/8" MPT inlet and a 3/16" CCT outlet to allow proper routing of gases in ranges, ovens, and other appliances that need ignition operation to use normal heating operations.
