The Duke 153036SED Convection Oven 2-Speed Motor 1/2-1/4 HP 200-240 V 50/60 Hz operates the convection fan by transforming electrical energy into rotational energy at two adjustable speed levels. It works by switching between high, and low horsepower outputs to control the intensity of airflow allowing the circulation of heated air in the cavity to be controlled. It is mounted in the convection oven housing, where it is connected to the fan assembly, and internal electrical system to move air during cooking processes to support maintaining a uniform distribution of heat throughout the chamber.
