The Star Mfg 154024 Red Indicator Light 1/2" FF is an electrical current that is applied to the internal lamp of the light to create a colored signal that corresponds to a certain operating condition of the equipment. The red lens causes the status to be displayed on the control panel as the lamp lights. It is mounted into a female fitting or panel hole in compatible Star cooking and foodservice equipment, where the lens is mounted flush with the surface. The indicator light is a better visual indicator of power or operational status when in use, once installed.
