The Star Mfg Z1-301013 Electric Fryer Indicator Signal Light Red 250 V works by turning on when electrical current is passed through the circuit, an active or powered state. The internal lamp is sensitive to the voltage input which transforms electrical energy to visible light to indicate. This is normally placed at the front control panel so that it can be easily seen when in operation. It was created to be used in commercial and to track equipment status in the process of heating. The component is rated and is compatible with the existing wiring connections to be used in the standard replacement applications.
