The Ember Glo 161500 Red Signal Light 1/2" 250V is a lamp that emits a consistent red light when a specific circuit is connected to it. This automatically switches on when it is connected to power and switches off when the connection is broken and provides a better visual indication of the presence or absence of electricity. It is fitted to be mounted on panels or enclosures with a hole to be made on control boxes, machinery panels, and cabinets. It has been compatible with a variety of commercial electrical systems.
