The Comstock Castle 18-63 Burner Valve controls the flow of fluid or gas by rotating an internal stem that makes a sealing element open or closed between ports. To open or close the flow through the body the internal mechanism is altered by rotating the valve handle. It is installed in a system whereby the inlet is connected to a 1/8-inch male threaded pipe and the outlet or downstream element is connected to 3/8"-27. This valve is installed to suit those applications that require such a thread setup to regulate the flow.
