The Savory 21212 Gear Motor Fan Shaft is a drive and airflow assembly used in compatible commercial toasting equipment. It works by, transforming electrical energy into a low-speed rotation at 12.6 RPM which powers a 4-blade fan to circulate air in the unit. During operation this airflow supports distributing heat throughout the toasting chamber. The motor and shaft assembly is housed in the internal drive portion of the toaster, and is attached to the fan system and other mechanical parts. It is used in commercial kitchens and foodservice applications where conveyor toasters or batch toasters are used.
