The Savory 22743 Gear Motor Fan Shaft is a drive assembly used in commercial toaster equipment. It generates controlled low speed rotation at 12.6 RPM which in turn drives the four blades of the fan that is used to move air within the appliance. The fan system is used to distribute heat in the toasting chamber during the toasting process. This motor/shaft assembly is housed in the toaster's drive compartment and directly coupled to the fan assembly, where a uniform air flow is needed to operate a toaster.
