The Wells 2E34594 Infinite Switch 15A 120V is a countertop system that controls the amount of heat generated by a countertop appliance by varying the electrical resistance as the knob is turned, allowing the heating element to be fed with more or less current. It works by changing the number of contacts within the device and resistive paths to change the quantity of power delivered to the element to provide a continuous array of settings rather than discrete ones. This is an infinite switch that is fitted on the rear side of the control panel.
