The Star Mfg 2EZ22954 Infinite Switch is a part that regulates the flow of electricity to heating elements by changing the level of resistance to enable the production of heat to be gradually increased or decreased. It works on a rotary system whereby the current is varied according to the position of the dial, allowing smooth control. It is intended to be installed behind the panels on the stoves or range controls and directly into the slot in which the switch is supposed to be placed and is wired directly to the terminals of the elements.
