The Vollrath/Idea-Medalie 369075 Flame Sensor Probe 1-3/8" is used to detect the presence of a burner flame by detecting the electrical signal produced in the combustion process. It is mounted in the burner or combustion chamber where it is placed in such a way that the tip of the probe is at the flame when it is in operation. This component is used in gas-driven commercial kitchen gear as the ignition and safety system. It turns off when ignition is not detected.
