The Garland 4525540 Linear Actuator is used to convert 90 VDC electrical energy to controlled mechanical movement by rotating a motor at 3300 RPM. This internal motor makes an arm move in or out by a lead screw mechanism to assist in physical changes in the appliance. The component is normally set up within the base casing of the grill, where it is hooked up to the heating components assembly to control automated positioning. The unit has a current of 1.5A that is the force needed to maintain the constant rise or movement of heavy internal hardware when cooking a meal.
