The Dean 807-1597 Fryer Time Delay Fuse 3A is used to guard the electrical circuits of the fryer against damage due to overload current. It works by letting the normal current through but resisting short transient spikes, and then opening the circuit. The fuse is fitted in the fuse holder or control panel of the fryer and is wired in accordance with the circuit protected. which works in concert with wiring and parts to assist in the prevention of damage.
